Smart Towel Lockers for a Multi-Tenant Building
Challenge
A busy multi-tenant London building needed a more controlled and accountable way to distribute towels to employees and building users. The existing process required significant staff involvement and resulted in regular towel losses. The proposed installation area was also positioned on a disabled access ramp, creating an additional design challenge.
Solution
Hublok designed and installed a smart towel distribution system mounted on bespoke levelled bases to accommodate the sloping floor. Users collect clean towels from an allocated locker using their existing staff access cards, then deposit used towels into a dedicated return bin.
Outcome
The building now has a convenient, self-service towel distribution process with improved control over who collects each item. The system reduces staff administration, helps minimise towel losses and provides a practical solution that works within the constraints of the existing building.
