Smart Parcel Lockers for a Global Media Organisation

Challenge

A multinational media organisation required a more efficient way to manage package deliveries at its London headquarters. The solution needed to support traditional mailroom distribution while also allowing employees to securely leave items for colleagues across the workplace.

Solution

Hublok installed smart parcel lockers across two floors, integrated with the organisation’s Metafour mailroom system. Mailroom staff can deposit packages and automatically notify recipients, who collect their items using a PIN, barcode or QR code. The system also includes a peer-to-peer function, allowing employees to securely leave documents, equipment or other items for named colleagues.

Outcome

The organisation now has a streamlined and traceable process for both mailroom deliveries and internal exchanges. The lockers reduce manual handovers, improve convenience for employees and provide secure collection at a suitable time. Custom high-grade vinyl graphics transformed the standard white lockers into a visually integrated part of the organisation’s workplace branding.
