Smart Lockers for a Global Insurance Company

Challenge

A global insurance company required a more flexible way to provide personal storage for employees travelling between its London offices. The facilities team needed to allocate lockers remotely, control how long each compartment could be used and maintain visibility over occupancy across the estate.

Solution

Hublok installed a centrally managed smart locker system that allows facilities teams to assign lockers, define usage periods and review detailed occupancy reports. Employees access their allocated lockers using either their existing RFID staff credentials or a designated PIN code.

Outcome

The organisation now has a secure and adaptable storage solution that supports employees moving between buildings. Remote management reduces administration for the facilities team, while live usage information helps ensure locker capacity is used efficiently and remains available where it is needed most.
