24/7 IT Collection Lockers

Challenge

A leading UK media organisation needed to reduce pressure on its busy IT support bar, which was increasingly expected to provide device and equipment collection around the clock. The new solution needed to integrate with the organisation’s existing ServiceNow platform and remain highly visible within the staff canteen area.

Solution

Hublok designed and installed a distinctive bank of smart collection lockers positioned prominently within the workplace. The system uses Blocks software with ServiceNow integration, allowing IT teams to assign equipment to individual employees and automatically issue collection instructions. Staff can then securely collect their allocated devices without requiring the IT bar to be staffed.

Outcome

The organisation now provides secure, self-service IT collection beyond normal support hours. The lockers have reduced demand on the IT team, improved convenience for employees and created a clear, accessible collection point within a high-traffic area of the office.
